Identification
Large, heavy body with a shoulder hump, rounded ears and brown fur ranging from light to very dark.
Habitat
Large forests and mountain areas, including forest edges and clearings.
Distribution
Northern Eurasia and North America. In Romania mainly in the Carpathians.

Breeding
