Difficulty
Moderate
Behaviour to anticipate
Sweeping feeding movements and reflections on calm water.
Starting shutter speed
Around 1/1600 sec for feeding; faster for flight.
Fieldcraft
A low position from a car or the shore; avoid approaching across open mud.
Ethics
Avoid nesting areas; alarm calls and dive-bombing mean you are too close.

Practical starting points, not fixed rules.
